This past Tuesday evening the Sacred Stitch Team had the pleasure of attending the Ti$a X Community 54 in store event at the Community 54 shop in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The party was packed with various products from Ti$a’s current collection available for purchase as well as a appearance from style mogul Taz Arnold himself. Midway through the event, the Community 54 courtyard filled up with people waiting for Taz’s appearance. Finally he came through, dipped in a vintage MCM leather trench, fresh vintage shades and gold YSL pins galore. A$ap Rocky as well as Anwar Carrots also came through to show love. This past Thursday evening the Sacred Stitch team had the pleasure of attending the opening reception of “Resolve” a realist art exhibition at the Joshua Liner Gallery in NYC. The show was curated by our friend Tony Curanaj and featured some of his work along with several other contemporary realist painters. “This exhibition of colleagues and influences reflects a relatively narrow but varied slice of the art world, and presents it to an audience that may not be exposed to this segment of contemporary art practice.” Check out the photos from the show and the galleries press release after the jump!

Odd Future’s The Internet Releases Music Video for “Fastlane”

Syd Tha Kid and Matt Martians, both members of the Odd Future collective, just released their 4th single, “Fastlane”, off of Purple Naked Ladies project. The visuals accompanying the track features Syd and her girlfriend Bonnie and Clyde syle, first robbing and killing a man for his whip and then tearing through town on a reckless crime spree. Check out Tyler, the Creator’s cameo at the end of the clip, which infers that the video is a prequel to their last single, “Cocaine”. Purple Naked Ladies, OFWGKTA’s first physically released album, is available now on iTunes and in stores January 31st.
