1. Tell us about your craziest touring experience?
Hands down, has to be SXSW. Every year I got out there it gets even more crazier then the last. I have so much fun when I’m in Austin for that festival and I can’t even begin to speak on the madness that ensues there lol. Suffice it to say, it’s the place to be every year.

2. What type of college class would you’d most want to take and why?
Any class that has several hot women in them lol. Seriously, I’d take a baking or knitting class if it means I can be around beautiful ladies all day haha.

3. What city in America is the most fun to visit and why?
From my travels thus far, I’d have to say Atlanta. I’ve been down there a few times and I love the vibe and scene down there. From AC3 to Treesound Studios, Strip clubs to soul food it’s a beautiful city and I always have a great time down there.

4. What’s some of the best advice you were ever given?
A good friend once told me “Make music for yourself, because when everything is said and done you are the ONLY person that has to listen to…” That coupled with “Making music from your heart” is how I create and move within this realm.

5. What’s in heavy rotation in your MP3/CD player right now?
Beats haha. Seriously though, I love instrumental type music to listen to in my off time. If it doesn’t have a lot of words, it doesn’t distract me and I’m able to vibe and think. I like MGMT, Vampire Weekend, Justice, etc. I also enjoy Lady Gaga. If I’m in a rap mode though is old Em and Jay.

6. The last good book you read or TV show you’re addicted to?
48 Laws of Power. I’ve probably read this book about 4 or 5 times and study the principles within it. Some people say this is a “bad” book but the bible can be a bad book as well is you contort the messages. I just appreciate the tactics and stories.

7. What’s the first concert you ever saw – how was it?
Funny enough, I’ve NEVER been to a concert. Sounds crazy right? It is. Before music I’ve just never gotten the opportunity to and when I became an artist I decided that I wouldn’t attend any concert until I’m performing in it. I’m sticking to my guns.

8. What are three items you can’t live without on tour?
Computer, Phone and CHARGERS hahaha. For whatever reason I always forget them and can’t use the first two items properly which leaves me dead in the water. Long as I got those I’m good though.

9. Who are your major musical influences?
Right now, its the people around me. Stadium Red Studios, Ariel Borujow, Maki, Canei, Just Blaze, Omen, the interns, etc. I feed off the energy around me. Beyond that though, I’m influenced by artist such as Tech N9ne, Murs, Immortal Tech, etc. I love the independent hustle and those are some artist that inspire me to keep going.

Any random messages or tips you’d like to give to mtvU watchers?
Stay in school f#cker hahaha. Ich!ban
