8th Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival-Recap

July 20th, 2012 by

This past Saturday July 14th  the Sacred Stitch team spent the day overlooking the Manhattan skyline at the 8th annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival. As in past years we  put together a exclusive Tee design to correlate with the event.  Last year’s, “Brooklyn We Do It For The Love”, tee was a huge hit so we wanted to offer another dope limited edition design.  This year’s,  “Spread Love It’s The Brooklyn Way” tee payed homage to hip-hop and Brooklyn’s own fallen king, The Notorious B.I.G..  The tee’s colorway is inspired by A Tribe Called Quest’s “Low End Theory” album and its typography mirrors that of Brooklyn native Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing”.  The event was a huge success and we had a great time building with old friends and making some new ones. The shows headliner Busta Rhymes brought out an wide array of special guests including Slick Rick and the full reunion of Leaders of The New School! As always it was really dope to be a part of the event. Check out some of the pics of our booth as well as some of the Celebs we got a chance to chop it up with while we were there.
