January 4th, 2011 by

As 2011 is now upon us, we wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Healthy and Successful New Year. As most do, we can’t help but to look back at some of the highlights of 2010 in efforts to plan for the future. We really have been blessed to have such great customer base, one that appreciates our style, originality and hard work! With out you Sacred Stitch would not be possible and we appreciate all of the continued love and support. Moving forward we would like to encourage all of the extended Sacred Stitch Family “you” to be more pro-active and give us more “FEEDBACK”. In order to accomplish more in 2011 and continue producing the unique products we are known for.

So what happened in 2010? Well for starters we launched our new website encompassing our blog, shop and news updates all in one place. Recruiting the likes of super talented producer 6th sense to create a beat for our site! Which was then promptly followed by us dropping our spring 2010 line, which had a tremendous response at retail and on our site, again thanks to you!

We co-sponsored the Brooklyn Hip Hop festival and launched a special edition tee to coincide with the acclaimed event. We also had the pleasure of making some great new connections while strengthening old ones. Linking up with the likes of NYC’s hottest artists Donny Goines, P.So, Homeboy sandman, Fresh Daily and Outasite! All of which have continued to show love by rocking our gear not only on stage, but also in interviews, videos and on the streets. We had the opportunity to chop it up with some of the NFL’s finest at the annual Ray Rice day. Linking up with the likes of Lardarius Webb, Jason McCourty, Devin McCourty, Courtney Greene, and of course our boy Ray Rice. Probably the most note worthy collaboration however was the one that we most recently did with Brooklyn’s own Fresh Daily. Launching a exclusive Five Panel Hat and Tee to coincide with his album. The pack got a huge response and was featured in YRB Mag, Fader Mag and countless blogs across the net.

We started some great new features to the site and blog such as a The throw back of the week section, where we feature a old school joint for all the kids that don’t know what main stream hip hop used to be “good”. Also starting a Sacred Stitch interview section with your favorite MC’s ,Producers, Graff artists and designers. All of which we only plan to expand in 2011. Which leads to our next question what can you expect from us in the new year? Only better quality product all of which is made in the U.S.A.! Including more five panel caps, snap backs and dope tee designs to name a few. More collaboration with various brands and artists. More events such as the BKHHF and exclusive products to coincide with it but most of all expect us to deliver what you guys deserve dope exclusive gear and a cultural experience for you all to enjoy! Thanks again for the continued love and support! God bless from the Sacred Stitch Fam!
